A cake in the shape of the 1st Infantry Division's insignia in a beach theme sits ready before the celebration of the Army’s 248th birthday at Cantigny Warrior Restaurant on Fort Riley, Kansas, June 14, 2023. The cake was crafted to depict the 1st Infantry Division’s time during WWII, to include the beach landings at Tunisia, Sicily, and Normandy.
