The pins of the vehicle retrieval system are removed by a wheeled vehicle mechanic of D Troop, 1-134th Cavalry Squadron in preparation to hook up to a disabled vehicle as part of the Squadron’s annual training, Operation Kouma, at the Twin Bridge Training Area, South Korea, on June 10, 2019.
The Nebraska Army National Guard's 1-134th Cavalry Squadron is conducting 27 days of training in South Korea to practice their skills in mortars, sniper rifles, convoy operations and squad lanes. The training that these roughly 300 Soldiers will receive is vital to the Squadron’s overall readiness. The last time the Squadron conducted overseas training was 2013 in Germany.
