1-134th Cavalry Squadron conducts annual training in the Republic of Korea

Awaiting the vehicle retrieval system holes to line up with those of the Light Medium Tactical Vehicle, a wheeled vehicle mechanic of D Troop, 1-134th Cavalry Squadron stands ready to slide the pin in as part of their annual training, Operation Kouma, at the Twin Bridge Training Area, South Korea, on June 10, 2019.

The Nebraska Army National Guard's 1-134th Cavalry Squadron is conducting 27 days of training in South Korea to practice their skills in mortars, sniper rifles, convoy operations and squad lanes. The training that these roughly 300 Soldiers will receive is vital to the Squadron’s overall readiness. The last time the Squadron conducted overseas training was 2013 in Germany.
