Color guard assigned to the 2nd Recruiting Brigade salute during a change of command ceremony at the University of South Florida, in Tampa, June 2, 2023. During the ceremony, Lt. Col. Matthew A . Turcotte and Command Sgt. Maj. Jonathan D. Cargile assumed their respective roles as the new commander and command sergeant major of the 2nd Recruiting Brigade. The change of command ceremony serves as a symbol of the peaceful pass of responsibility from one leader to another.
