Col. Christopher L. Tomlinson, commander of U.S. Army Garrison Japan, received a Defense Cooperation Award and certificate of appreciation awarded by Maj. Gen. Momotoshi Yasuda, commander of 1st Engineer Brigade, Japan Ground Self-Defense Force.
Leadership from the 4th Engineer Group, including Col. Kenji Honda, commander; Lt. Col. Yasuto Ito, deputy commander; and Warrant Officer Daisuke Chiba, senior enlisted leader, presented the awards during a ceremony June 26 at Camp Zama to recognize Tomlinson’s partnership with the group during his time as the garrison commander.
