U.S. Marines with Combat Logistic Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, offload a pallet of meals ready to eat from an MV-22B Osprey in a landing zone at Camp Growl, Australia, June 26, 2023. The Marines took part in night-time helicopter support team exercises in order to increase the pilots’ proficiency in low light sling load operations. The 31st MEU is operating aboard ships of USS America Amphibious Ready Group in the 7th fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
