A U.S. Marine Corps MV-22B Osprey with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265 (Rein.), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, takes off at Camp Growl, Australia, June 26, 2023. The Marines took part in night-time helicopter support team exercises in order to increase the pilots’ proficiency in low light sling load operations. The 31st MEU is operating aboard ships of USS America Amphibious Ready Group in the 7th fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
