The village of Karabti San sits at the base of the Djiboutian Mountains Nov. 2, 2012 Karabti San, Djibouti. It is the site where U.S. service members assigned to Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa worked with local villagers to build a 21-foot-tall structure, which will serve as the village’s community building. After three years of working on the project alongside CJTF-HOA service members, Karabti San residents have acquired the skills to build an Eco Dome on their own. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt.
