In a ceremony steeped in a time honored tradition of Naval heritage, Navy Rear Admiral Anne M. Swap, MSC retired from active service after 32 years. The ceremony took place in Memorial Auditorium at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Bethesda, Maryland, where she served most recently as Director, National Capital Region Market.
RADM Swap, who previously served as the 18th Director, Medical Service Corps was honored with speeches given by Navy Rear Admiral Matthew Case, MSC, current Director, Medical Service Corp, and Vice Admiral Matthew Nathan, MC (Retired), former Navy Surgeon General.
