U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, prepare to secure a high mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicle from a CH-53E Super Stallion during a helicopter support team operation aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD-20) in the Coral Sea, July 7, 2023. The HST concluded the support of establishing a forward arming and refueling point 31st MEU training and sustainment. The 31st MEU is operating aboard ships of the America Amphibious Ready Group in the 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
