ATLANTIC OCEAN (July 13, 2023) Gunner’s Mate 3rd Class John Walston, assigned to the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5), shoots shot line over to the Henry J. Kaiser-class replenishment oiler USNS John Lenthall (T-AO 189) during a fueling-at-sea evolution. The U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps routinely participate in scheduled deployments to improve combined combat readiness, increase operational capacity, and strengthen relationships among allies and partners throughout the region.
