Cpl. William Plant, a physical training instructor from the Australian Defence Force, receives a company token from Capt. Jadon Arend, commander of Comanche Company, 4th Battalion, 1st Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 1st Armored Division, to thank him for the instruction provided during the obstacle course at the Lavarack Barracks, July 13, 2023. Comanche Co. ran the course with the help of ADF instructors as a team-building exercise while preparing for exercise Talisman Sabre 23.
Talisman Sabre is a large-scale, bilateral military exercise between Australia and the United States, which strengthens relationships and interoperability among key allies and enhances our collective capabilities to respond to a wide array of potential security concerns. This will be the tenth iteration of the exercise. (U.S. Army photo by Spc. Charlie Duke)
