Cole Malenich (left) and Joseph Ashley, students from Georgia Tech, designed a medical arm to practice applying tourniquets, wound stuffing, and bullet wounds at the Marne Innovation Center on Fort Stewart, Georgia, July 10, 2023. This is the first year that the Marne Innovation Program is partnering with the X-Force to give students an opportunity to work with the Department of Defense. These students conducted research by talking to medics and Soldiers from Tactical Combat Casualty Care classes and were able to implement what they would like in their course.
