Jacob Adams, Anesthesiologist Heart 23 Medical Brigade, takes notes during a surgery during a Global Health Engagements Assistance Response Team (HEART) support session May 23, 2023, at the San Felipe Hospital in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. More than 80 patients, ranging in age from 2-72 years old, have been evaluated and 36 surgeries have been performed during HEART 23. Throughout May, a team of Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) specialists from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, partnered with Honduran healthcare professionals to enhance knowledge exchange and strengthen relationships.
