A U.S. Army surgical team from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center joined their civilian Honduran counterparts to conduct a Otolaryngology Specialty Mission (ENT) during a Global Health Commitment Response and Assistance Team (HEART) support session May 23-June 3, 2023, at Hospital San Felipe in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. More than 80 patients, ranging in age from 2 to 72 years, were evaluated and 36 surgeries were performed during HEART 23. Opportunities like this enhance knowledge sharing and strengthen relationships.
