U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Nestor Juarezpozos, a machine gunner with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable)’s (MEU(SOC)) Battalion Landing Team 1/6, and Petty Officer 3rd Class Xerxes Havis, an aviation ordnance airman apprentice with the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5), review their assigned leadership speeches during Corporals’ Course hosted aboard the ship, Atlantic Ocean, July 22, 2023. The 26th MEU(SOC) is running Corporals’ Course concurrently onboard all three ships of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) which also includes the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) and the Harpers Ferry-class dock landing ship USS Carter Hall (LSD 50).
