Malcolm Perry, assistant executive director of the Hamad Medical Corporation emergency medical services, jumps off an air ambulance after landing at Camp As Sayliyah on March 6, symbolizing the ability for Hamad General Hospital to support air casualty evacuations from the U.S. military installation in Qatar. After arriving, Life Flight personnel alert military officials when emergency medical transport personnel can approach the helicopter with any casualties requiring air evacuation to the off-post medical center.
