Mark Friskel, from Pheonix, Ariz., explains air ambulance flight controls to installation firefighters and paramedics at Camp As Sayliyah, Qatar, on March 6. Fiskel, a former U.S. Army aviator, is a Life Flight pilot for Hamad Medical Corporation in Doha, Qatar. Today's exercise symbolized the ability for Hamad to support air casualty evacuations from the U.S. military installation in Qatar. After Life Flight personnel were welcomed by U.S. military officials, installation paramedics and fire fighters received a full explanation of the helicopter's capabilities and equipment.
