Members of the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Parachute Team, Para-Commandos, jumped from a Douglas C-47- Skytrain, “That’s All Brother” during the Sioux Falls Airshow, Power on the Prairie, July 29, 2023. The Para-Commandos jumped from the aircraft and raced toward earth at 120 mph before opening their black and gold canopies during the opening act of the free two-day airshow event which allowed attendees to tour static display aircraft, watch a variety of military and aerial acts, interact with 114th Fighter Wing airmen, witness various exhibitions by select military agencies, and purchase food and airshow items.
