Andrew “Tommy” Thompson,, a U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Para-Commando with USSCOM's premier aerial parachute demonstration, jumps from 10,000 feet and descends with the POW-MIA flag during the opening act of the Sioux Falls Airshow, Power on the Prairie, July 29-30, 2023. The Para-Commandos opened the free two-day airshow event which allowed attendees to tour static display aircraft, watch a variety of military and aerial acts, interact with 114th Fighter Wing airmen, witness various exhibitions by select military agencies, and purchase food and airshow items.
