U.S. Navy Sailors aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Rafael Peralta (DDG 115) conduct a simulated replenishment at sea with the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) during Talisman Sabre 23, aboard the USS America, in the Coral Sea, Aug. 1, 2023. We strengthen existing alliances and partnerships, and cultivate new ones, through development of interoperable capabilities, combined operations, theater security cooperation, and capacity-building efforts. Talisman Sabre is the largest bilateral military exercise between Australia and the United States advancing a free and open Indo-Pacific by strengthening capabilities to respond to a wide array of potential security concerns.
