Romanian army soldiers with the Romanian Air Defense, “Iron Cheetahs,” supporting NATO’s enhanced Forward Presence Battle Group Poland, give a tour of one of their Gepard Air Defense Systems to Latvian junior cadets during an equipment familiarization event outside of Klusy, Poland, Aug. 3. The event, Baltic Guard, consisted of junior cadets from Baltic countries attending multiple days of training in Poland to familiarize themselves with NATO and Polish equipment. U.S. Army Soldiers supporting the 4th Infantry Division also took part in the event. The 4th Inf. Div.'s mission in Europe is to engage in multinational training and exercises across the continent, working alongside NATO allies and regional security partners to provide combat-credible forces to V Corps, America’s forward-deployed corps in Europe.
