Donald Roscom, 316th Civil Engineer Squadron construction equipment operator, monitors wet cement pouring from a concrete mixer into a readied hole in the flightline at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, Aug. 8, 2023. The concrete pour was a part of a larger flight line repair that helped the base save on potential costly environmental repairs. Throughout the year, 316 CES is responsible for planning, constructing, and repairing airfield pavements, roads, streets, curbs, surface mats, membranes, and other improved areas using paving and surfacing procedures.
