U.S. Air Forces Technical Sgt. Mark Caples, Inter-European Air Forces Academy non-commissioned officer in-charge, faculty development, right, won the EPME Noncommissioned Officer of the Year Award by facilitating two PME courses at the MAJCOM's only blended SOS/NCOA program at Kapaun Air Station, Germany, November 24, 2022. Caples taught 342 academic hours, and led 16 experiential activities to 56 students from 17 NATO and Partnership for Peace nations to solidify international relationships that directly contributed to the NDS priorities of interoperability and Russian deterrence. He also guided four lessons and evaluated eight teach-backs during a Basic Instructor Course in partnership with the Lithuanian Armed Forces, which developed 18 instructors from five NATO and Partnership for Peace nations.
