U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. David Sanner, Inter-European Air Forces Academy director of education, right, won the Thomas N. Barnes for Enlisted Education Award through executing three virtual and in-residence courses of the MAJCOM's sole blended officer and enlisted international PME program at Kapaun Air Station, Germany, December 8, 2022. He educated 165 leaders from 25 countries. Sanner was also selected to showcase this unique PME program at the annual NATO Command Senior Enlisted Leader Conference where he cultivated future NCO development strategy with the USAF CMSAF and her equivalents from ten Allied and partner nations. He chaired a panel with NATO AIRCOM to highlight the benefits of a mixed rank PME program and its vital link to interoperability.
