Joel Bauer, 612th Air Base Squadron Air Transportation Function section chief, navigates a Halvorsen loader toward a U.S. Air Force C-5M Super Galaxy from Westover Air Reserve Base, Mass. to unload pallets of hospital beds during a Denton Cargo Program shipment Aug. 10, 2023, at Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras. The Denton Cargo Program was created to allow private U.S. citizens and organizations to use space available on U.S. military cargo planes to transport humanitarian goods, including hygiene supplies, non-perishable food, clothing, water filtration devices, hospital beds and rehabilitation equipment to communities in need.
