U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 612th Air Base Squadron disembark a U.S. Air Force C-5M Super Galaxy from Westover Air Reserve Base, Mass. during a Denton Cargo Program shipment Aug. 10, 2023, at Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras. Joint Task Force-Bravo’s J9 (Civil-Military Operations) and the 612th ABS work together to manage the Denton Cargo Program at SCAB, which was created to allow private U.S. citizens and organizations to use space available on U.S. military cargo planes to transport humanitarian goods, including hygiene supplies, non-perishable food, clothing, water filtration devices, hospital beds and rehabilitation equipment to communities in need.
