CH-53K King Stallions assigned to Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron (HMH) 461 are ready for takeoff at Marine Corps Air Station New River, North Carolina, Aug. 13, 2023. HMH-461 took part in Large Scale Exercise 2023, a globally integrated exercise designed to refine the synchronization of maritime operations across multiple fleets in support of the joint force. The training was based on a progression of scenarios that will assess and refine modern warfare concepts.
