TUY HOA, Vietnam (Aug. 15, 2023) - Dr. Daniele Spirandelli, Pacific Partnership 2023 Humanitarian Assistance Disaster Relief (HA/DR) team member, and Senior Associate, Climate Resilience Specialist for Haley Aldrich in Portland, Oregon, asks a question after a presentation at the Phu Yen Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Aug. 15. Now in its 18th year, Pacific Partnership is the largest annual multinational HA/DR mission conducted in the Indo-Pacific. The HA/DR team partnered with DARD to engage in a subject matter expert exchange on how to enhance disaster preparedness and resilience by increasing the capacity of entities to prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from natural or manmade disasters, including wildfires, oil spills and landslides.
