U.S. Navy Sailors with Marine Rotational Force – Darwin 23, and U.S. Marines with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 363 (Reinforced), MRF-D, load a simulated casualty onto a UH-1Y Venom helicopter during a mass casualty evacuation exercise on Robertson Barracks, Northern Territory, Australia, Aug. 16, 2023. Participants consisted of members from MRF-D 23 air combat element, ground combat element, and logistics combat element. Working together, these elements refine their unique ability to provide essential combat lifesaving care and transportation from point of injury to higher levels of care.
