Oregon National Guard Sgt. Mohamed Musa with the 102nd Civil Support Team (CST) instructs Department of Homeland Security Federal Protective Service explosive detection K9 handler Justin Warren on decontaminating his partner Linda, during a training exercise at Autzen Stadium on Aug. 16, 2023. The hands-on training enabled the CST team to share best practices for properly cleaning a working dog exposed to hazardous materials while on mission. Joint exercises build critical skills to ensure the safety of military and civilian first responders.
