An ammunition technician with Ammunition Company, 2nd Supply Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group lays high-explosive charges on a series of obsolete mortar rounds during a demolition at a range aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Dec. 4, 2012. The Marines established 17 caches of high explosives, which they carefully organized to ensure the live ordnance safely detonated on the ground and remained clear of the rest of the range.
