The new grading and placard system on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., is designed to make the results of a facility’s latest inspection clear to all potential diners as they approach the establishment. The JBLM Department of Public Health, and its Environmental Health Service that conducts the inspections, will start issuing these placards to food facilities on base to include restaurants, dining facilities and food trucks.
