Tech. Sgt. Karrie Russell, 332nd Expeditionary Communications Squadron cable and antenna systems maintainer, cuts copper cable used to ground a lightning rod, March 6. The rod and cable is used to give lightning a path of least resistance that is higher than the other equipment installed on the tower. Russell is deployed from the 210th Engineering Installation Squadron Air National Guard, St. Paul, Minn.
