U.S. Marine Corps CH-53E Super Stallions attached to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 165 (Reinforced), 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, shelter from Tropical Storm Hilary in a hangar at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Arizona, during the 15th MEU’s Realistic Urban Training exercise, Aug. 19, 2023. The 15th MEU planned and executed a destructive weather mitigation plan to protect personnel and equipment from the storm, and resumed normal training operations after the inclement weather subsided. RUT is a shore-based, MEU-level exercise that provides an opportunity to train and execute operations as a Marine Air-Ground Task Force in urban environments. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
