Florida National Guard (FLNG) Soldiers of 1st Battalion, 111th Aviation Regiment arrive at Sheltair Aviation MLB in Melbourne, Florida, Aug. 28, 2023, to shelter their aircraft from storm damage and strategically position for movement and support after Hurricane Idalia makes landfall. This Boeing CH-47 Chinook is one of many aircraft the guard has positioned here that will be supporting relief efforts such as search and rescue, transporting personnel and delivering vital supplies.
