Florida National Guard (FLNG) Soldiers of 1st Battalion, 111th Aviation Regiment arrive at Sheltair Aviation MLB in Melbourne, Florida, Aug. 28, 2023, to shelter their aircraft from storm damage and strategically position for movement and support after Hurricane Idalia makes landfall. Boeing CH-47 Chinook and Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk crews flew from locations across the state and are able to support relief efforts such as search and rescue, transporting personnel and delivering vital supplies.
