The U.S. Army 130th Engineers and Indonesian National Armed Forces 2nd Marine Engineer Battalion have been working to raise the range berm 6 feet in order to facilitate multi-lateral training and improve the safety of the range. All service members will qualify on this range before going to live fire exercises during Super Garuda Shield 2023. #SuperGarudaShield 2023 is an annual exercise that has significantly grown in scope and size since 2009. #SGS2023 is the second consecutive time this exercise has grown into a combined and #joint event, highlighting the 6 participating and 12 observing nations’ commitment to #partnership and a #freeandopenindopacific.
