Students, professors and U.S. Army Reserve innovation officers participating in Project Mercury, a military and academic initiative designed to create mobile and web-based platforms that eliminate administrative burdens faced by U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers, convene at the University of Central Florida's main campus in Orlando, Fla., Sept. 6, 2023, to obtain an overview of the project's challenges, capabilities and potential solutions. The 75th Innovation Command has partnered with UCF, the National Security Innovation Network and the 244th Aviation Brigade to lead this project. The groups of subject matter experts in data science, artificial intelligence and online product development seek to replace outdated paperwork processes with efficient and effective systems by integrating modern mobile and web application technology.
