NORFOLK, Va. (Sep. 13, 2023) Vice Adm. Angus Topshee, commander, Royal Canadian Navy (RCN), center right, receives a tour of a P-8A Poseidon multi-mission maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft from Lt. Abe Ross, a tactical coordinator with Patrol and Reconnaissance Squadron (VP) 45 “The Pelicans” stationed at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Fla. Topshee and an RCN delegation toured the aircraft while taking part in maritime staff talks hosted by Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command. The inaugural maritime staff talks strengthen the compatibility and cooperation at-sea between the United States Navy and Royal Canadian Navy in the defense of both nations.
