The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) Director Kelly McKeague gives opening remarks during the annual technical talks between DPAA and the Vietnamese Office for Seeking Missing Persons (VNOSMP) Standing Deputy Director Le Thanh Tung both gave opening remarks during the annual technical talks held for the first time in Washington, D.C., at the United States Institute of Peace, Sept. 13, 2023.
Technical talks are briefings between representatives of the DPAA and VNOSMP that discuss continued joint field operations throughout the country for the upcoming year, address policy and operational initiatives, and explore how to increase mission effectiveness and efficiency to account for U.S. personnel who are still missing.
