Vietnamese Office for Seeking Missing Persons (VNOSMP) delegation speaks with U.S. Marine Col. Matt Brannen, Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) acting Deputy Director of Operations and other DPAA representatives during the annual technical talks held for the first time in Washington, D.C. at the United States Institute of Peace, Sept. 13, 2023.
Technical talks are briefings between representatives of the DPAA and VNOSMP that discuss continued joint field operations throughout the country for the upcoming year, address policy and operational initiatives, and explore how to increase mission effectiveness and efficiency to account for U.S. personnel who are still missing.
