DJIBOUTI, Djibouti (August 23, 2023) U.S. service members deployed to Camp Lemonnier Djibouti, meet with Italian service members aboard the Italian frigate Luigi Rizzo (F 595)at the Port of Djibouti, Djibouti, August 23. Italian service members aboard the F 595 used this port visit as an opportunity to engage with U.S. partner forces and increase interoperability. CLDJ is an operational installation that enables U.S., allied, and partner nation forces to be where and when they are needed to ensure security in Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia.
