U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Devin Holt, a fixed-wing mechanic with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 542, delivers hand and arm signals at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, Sept. 14, 2023. The Naval Weapon System Evaluation Program allowed VMFA-542 to safely conduct the loading and firing of live missiles at threat-realistic targets to test the squadron's ability, flexibility, and procedures while repositioned in unfamiliar locations.
