Dwain Stewart and John Barnick, both engineers with the Corona Division Product Engineering Assessment Department at Naval Surface Warfare Center, watch the final assembly of the Griffin missile launcher. In partnership with NSWC Dahlgren as design agent, the Navy Gage and Standards Lab machine shop at NSWC Corona manufactured the launcher for the Griffin, intended as a laser-guided shipboard missile against fast-moving small craft, in five weeks.
