U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Joseph Singletary performes a safety check on the door of a U.S Air Force C-17 Globemaster III attached to the 535th Airlift Squadron, 15th Wing, during a night time low-level static line parachute jump on Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Sept. 18, 2023. The purpose of this training is for 3d Reconnaissance Marines to be able to support 3d Marine Littoral Regiment by inserting into key maritime terrain at a moment’s notice.
