Marines from Camp Foster practice eisa drum dance with Chatan Young Adult Federation, consisting of two surviving young adult associations, Jaagaru and Eguchi Young Adult Associations, at Chatan, Okinawa, March 21, 2023. They have been practicing together every Tuesday and Thursday since March 14, 2023. It all started when Col. David M. Banning, camp commander for Camps Foster and Lester, invited the Jaagaru Young Adult Association to perform eisa on the streets of Foster housing in 2022.
