Chaudhry, a native of nearby Phoenix, and a percussionist musician with the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing Band, based in Havelock, N.C., also discussed how he enlisted into the Marine Corps in 2009 through the Musician Enlisted Option Program (MEOP), a program which provides an applicant the opportunity to serve their country both as a musician and a warrior. "If I was a senior in high school, this is what I would do," said Bradstreet, who has had two previous students go on to become Marine musicians. "The best military band right now is the Marines."
