230918-N-ZZ999-1108 BROOKE’S POINT, Philippines (Sept. 18, 2023) Primary stakeholders unveil the building marker at the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new two-room schoolhouse building at Carlos. M. Virrey National High School. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3 is the lead element in the construction with support from the U.S. Marine Corps 7th Engineer Support Battalion, Philippine Navy Seabees 3rd Naval Combat Engineer Battalion, and Philippine Marine Corps Marine Battalion Landing Team 4. NMCB 3 is forward-deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction for the U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection. The battalion stands ready to complete assigned tasking, support humanitarian aid/disaster relief, and major combat operations throughout the area of operations.
