Spc. Xander Trofatter, a Paratrooper assigned to 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, from Wells, M.E., tests a Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System (MILES) weapon attachment at the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) on Fort Johnson, L.A., Sept. 21, 2023. MILES gear includes sensors that simulate the reception of enemy fire for training purposes. The equipment was tested in preparation for JRTC rotation 23-10.
